When I do a similar scene in vue, my clouds look like square patches.

That's why I use Terragen for this type of scene. Vue is excellent for landscape scenes involving plants and trees but for low to medium orbit scenes I prefer Terragen.

I don't think so, but you can go into Vue and try mapping the clouds.

Stock or not, this is a great little piece. It reminds me of Earth from orbit - all that's missing are some thunderheads.
